Pete has dedicated the last 8 years to our 3d New England Program.  He has continued to fuel his passion for the sport by helping to develop and mentor countless players and coaches throughout the New England landscape.  Pete has worn many hats throughout his tenure here in New England and assisted in all different areas of the club: including HS Club, facility planning, recruiting, box league construct, camp/clinic expansion, Prep Bound oversight, tournament/showcase development, winter skills growth and town workshop activation.  Pete lives in Waltham, MA with his wife Tiana who is a nurse at Boston Children’s Hospital and his two children Blaise and Sienna. Pete’s passions are all competitive sports, cooking and being around family.

Ryan has been a full-time member of 3d New England since January of 2020 and has been coaching with 3d since 2018. At 3d New England, Ryan’s primary focus is the management of our youth select program, which includes over 300 players from 3^rd to 8^th grade. Ryan is local to the Boston area, growing up in Beverly where he began to play lacrosse at eight years old. Ryan went on to play at the Governors Academy in high school where he was a two-time All-ISL player. He was also named team captain his senior season and helped lead his team to an ISL Championship. Ryan then went on to play division one lacrosse at Colgate University, where he was a two-year starter for the Raiders. Ryan currently resides in South Boston, MA.

Matt has been a part of 3dNE since the Fall of 2020 after spending seven years in the college coaching ranks.  When Matt first came to 3dNE he was tasked with running all our youth and summer camps before moving into his current role as the Manager for the High School Select Teams.  He has also taken over running the Winter Box Lacrosse League which has developed into one of the best high school box leagues in the country.  “I feel incredibly grateful for an opportunity to coach and give back to the game that’s given me so much”, “I take a ton of pride in develop players and helping them achieve the lacrosse and academic goals they set for themselves.”  Matt resides in Waltham, MA with his girlfriend Caitlin.  When he’s not coaching lacrosse, you can find him surfing, fishing, snowboarding or hanging with his family and friends.

Harper is from Minnetonka, Minnesota, she is currently the Head Coach of the middle school girls hockey team for the Noble and Greenough School. She started her coaching career as a student coach for the Minnetonka Youth Hockey Association in Minnesota.

She was a member of the Montclair State University Women’s Ice Hockey Team from 2015-2018. While on the MSU team she assisted in winning the DVCHC and her team making it to the national championships for the first time in program history.
In 2019 Harper started to work with the New York Rangers youth programs. Here she was a head coach for the newly formed all girls league. As well as a coach for the Learn to Play and Rookie League programs.

In 2023 she took over as the head coach for the Park School. In 2024 she joined the Nobles team as the Co-Head Coach of the Middle School team. She is also working with the Cambridge Youth Hockey Association U10 and Squirt 3 teams. In her time off the ice, she works with 3d New England and enjoys reading, baking, and exploring Boston.

Joey Waldbaum joins 3d New England after a decorated four-year career at Tufts University, where he was a three-time USILA All-American and two-time NCAA National Champion. A Denver, CO native and Kent Denver High School graduate, Joey was a two-time captain of his high school lacrosse team before committing to Tufts through the 3d DIII Showcase.

At Tufts, Joey established himself as one of Division III's premier defensemen, earning All-NESCAC First Team honors and USILA All-America recognition in each of his final three seasons. He was a two-time captain for the Jumbos and a consistent presence on the field, playing in every game of his college career. 

Joey graduated from Tufts in May 2025, earning Academic All-America First Team honors. He capped his college career by helping lead the Jumbos to a perfect season and NCAA Championship victory at Gillette Stadium. A lifelong 3d Lacrosse player who grew up with 3d Colorado, Joey brings his championship pedigree and deep understanding of the 3d methodology to his role in New England.

Max Waldbaum is a lifelong 3d Lacrosse player turned coach. From Denver, CO, Max played on the original 3d Colorado team and committed to Tufts University after attending Kent Denver HS and going to the DIII showcase. He graduated Tufts in 2021 with a degree in Economics, minoring in Finance and Entrepreneurial Leadership. Max was an All-NESCAC, Academic AA, DIII All-American attackman at Tufts, scoring 130 points in 34 games. He then took two grad transfer years at Jacksonville University with extra Covid eligibility, where he was a two-time captain, All-SOCON, Tewaaraton watch list, DI All-American. Max graduated with an MBA in May and looks forward to his new role coaching and developing student-athletes. Max is also a volunteer assistant at Tufts University.

Mike began his lacrosse journey, in the first grade, playing for Parkway Youth Lacrosse. Coaching has always been a huge passion of his, as he has coached various town programs as well as camps and clinics for 3d since he was in high school. Mike attended Dexter-Southfield School, where he played for various 3d coaches and was named team captain and a U.S. Lacrosse All-American. After high school, he continued his college lacrosse career at St. Lawrence University, where he majored in business and economics. Mike is currently running camps, events, and clinics for us while diligently helping out with our youth program and the WBLL. Aside from lacrosse, you can find Mike playing with his dog, attempting to surf, and enjoying the presence of his loved ones.

Sam Cleveland joins the 3d team with a decade of experience as a Division I athlete and successful coach in the Massachusetts lacrosse scene. An Arlington, MA native and 2015 graduate of The Rivers School, he played four years at Colgate University, starting nearly every game and earning All-Patriot League honors in 2018 as a midfielder. In the Spring of 2019, Sam was drafted to the now-defunct professional team MLL Ohio Machine. Since graduating from Colgate in 2019, he coached with the Fighting Clams and Littlenecks, later serving as a director for both after a stint working for a tech startup, developing an educational software company. He also serves as head coach at Lawrence Academy (ISL), a role he’s held for five years now. Over the past decade, as both player and coach, Sam has competed with and against much of the region’s top talent. He has coached high school and future college all-Americans, high level prep school lacrosse, town and youth programs, and everything in between. Sam coaches with 3d New England, Nations Best, and the Jr. PLL.

Coach Pearson joined Cushing in 2023, and has a wealth of lacrosse coaching experience and connections. He was an All-Conference lacrosse player at the University of New England, and has been an assistant coach at Springfield College, Bowdoin College, and Babson College, as well as the head coach of the Hyde School in Bath, ME. In addition to coaching lacrosse and hockey at Cushing, Coach Pearson is a student advisor and faculty member of the mathematics department.

Coach Saccomani has coached at both the college and high school level. He was most recently the Head Coach at Malden Catholic. Before that he was an assistant at Bishop Fenwick High School. Before moving to high school coaching he was an assistant coach at American International College. Mike is an elementary school special education teacher

Sean Quirk: Coach Quirk is an accomplished and respected lacrosse coach, with a career that spans elite collegiate coaching, professional leadership, and championship-level playing experience. Known for building winning cultures and developing high-character student-athletes, Quirk’s impact on the sport is evident at every level he has coached. 

Quirk is currently the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach at Springfield College / Director of Elite Lacrosse and Peak Goalie. Quirk has served as the Head Coach and General Manager of the Boston Cannons from 2015 to 2023, guiding the franchise through one of the most successful eras in its history. Under his leadership, the Cannons captured the 2020 championship, and Quirk was named Coach of the Year that same season. During his tenure, he coached 17 All-Pro players, blending strategic innovation with player development to build a consistently competitive professional roster. 

At the collegiate level, Quirk was the Head Coach at Endicott College from 1998-2015, establishing one of the premier NCAA Division III lacrosse programs in the country. He owns a remarkable 243–97 career record (.715), including an extraordinary 123–11 (.918) conference mark. His sustained excellence ranks him 13th all-time in winning percentage and 16th all-time in total wins among NCAA Division III coaches. Quirk led Endicott to nine NCAA Tournament appearances, including five trips to the second round, and eight conference championships. His coaching excellence has been widely recognized, earning honors such as the 2008 NCAA Division III Coach of the Year, four CCC Coach of the Year awards, the 2014 NEILA Coach of the Year, and the 2015 NEILA Man of the Year. 

Quirk was inducted in 2024 as a player to the Massachusetts Lacrosse Hall of Fame and 2026 inducted as a coach into the Connecticut Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

Equally notable is Quirk’s commitment to player development on and off the field. He has coached 21 All-Americans, 57 All-Region selections, and 143 All-Conference players, including numerous Players and Rookies of the Year. His teams have also excelled academically, with 33 student-athletes earning Academic All-Conference recognition.

Before his head coaching career, Quirk served as an assistant coach at Springfield College from 1996 to 1997. As a player at Springfield (1992– 95), he was a captain, two-time All-American, a member of the 1994 NCAA Division II National Championship team, 1995 NCAA National Championship appearance and the 1995 NCAA Division II Goalie of the Year. Quirk played at Cheshire High School, 1988-1991 as a goalie while serving as team captain in 1991, he was recognized as an All State and Northern Division All Star while winning the Northern Division Championship. While at Cheshire he began laying the foundation for a successful career in the sport of lacrosse.
